VERTIGO
Vertigo,
completed in 2008, is a high aspect ratio genki kite, 3 metres wide. Constructed
from carbon fibre and ripstop nylon. The surface design was a development from
the Streetlife kite, originally inspired by a vist to New York City. The use
of symmetry, using two vertical towers, seemed to create a stronger design
composition more suited to the proportions of the genki. Shown right with
two matching tube tails, flown in stronger winds.
