INSPIRATION
I
have completed over 20 sketchbooks which I use to create the designs for kites.
Starting with quick 'thumbnail' ideas, doodles and scribbles, these are then
developed using specific visual themes.
The
visual dynamics of contemporary architecture captured in photographs taken
in cities such as New York, Berlin and Sydney, have been a source of inspiration
for kite designs.
The
dramatic architecture and visual rhythms in New York City was the inspiration
and ideal starting point for a new sketchbook of kite designs.
