WAVE
2 low aspect ratio kites designed using the theme of 'waves'. Height 3 metres, constructed from carbon fibre and ripstop nylon.
above: I painted the ripstop during the Festival International de cerf-volant, Dieppe, 2012, with Michel Gressier, using photographs I had taken of the sea. I constructed the kite in 2013.
below: applique kites, using colours and shapes to evoke the sense of movement of a wave.
