is a low aspect ratio kite, inspired by a visit to Berlin. Constructed from
ripstop nylon and carbon fibre, it stands 2.8 metres high.
The surface design was drawn directly onto a paper pattern, with only a few
quick sketches completed before hand. The shapes convey the lively sounds emanating
from the city at night - music, traffic, voices - contrasting rhythms which
make up the 'hum' of city life.
