DELTA KITE PLAN
Construct a 2.16 metre wide delta from a detailed plan.
Delta
kites are suitable for light winds and thermals, which can often send them
soaring to great heights. The central keel and the dihedral, created by pressure
to the main sail area, give directional stability. These deltas are usually
constructed from carbon fibre or dowel and ripstop nylon, they range in size
from 2.2 metres wide to 4 metres.
